So the time has come. San Diego Comic Con is in less than a week. I am beyond thrilled. If you have noticed above I made a new banner to show off the costumes I will be cosplaying as this year. Here are my plans:
Wednesday (Preview Night) - No cosplay for me. I am just going to hang out, walk around and check things out. Maybe do some interviews.
Thursday - I will be wearing my Lady Titan costume. BUT, this will be a new one. This is a bit more retro and will be in spandex (lycra, actually) kinda like the superheroes from the 70s.
Friday - Ah, I mentioned that I wanted to do this costume before. I will be suiting up as Carol Danvers Captain Marvel. That should be a lot of fun. It’s a brand new costume and I am thrilled to show it off.
Saturday - I am going to be paying tribute to Dinah Lance. Yes, I’ll cosplaying as Black Canary! I thought I would show love to one of my fav Justice League characters.
There you go. I am not staying for Sunday. 4 days is enough for me, LOL. My feet can only take so much.
If you see me, be sure to say hi!
See you in San Diego!
Our friends at Warner Archive have announced their San Diego Comic Con plans. Warner Archive is where you can find all those hard to find movies and television shows that your are missing from your collection. It really is a geeks dream come true. I have a nice stack of DVDs like Wonder Woman 1974 TV movie and the complete Shazam! live action series.
So, they are headed to SDCC for some exciting panels. Take a look at what they have planned below:
I just happened to run across these pictures of me cosplaying at San Diego Comic Con last year. I cosplayed as the Cathy Lee Crosby version of Wonder Woman from the 1974 TV movie. I have to admit, I chose a relatively obscure version of Wonder Woman, LOL. But, I love the CLC version, I thought she was a way different take on the character.
I also wanted to cosplay as someone you would not see 30 girls dressed the same as. I don’t think most people had any clue as to who I was cosplaying as. But the ones who did were really excited that I chose to do her. So let’s have a look at the pictures!
Ready for another cosplay interview? This time I talk to Batgirl Raquel who went to San Diego Comic Con to cosplay as DC Comics villain Poison Ivy. As you can see I am cosplaying as the Cathy Lee Crosby version of Wonder Woman. Let’s chat up this cutie. Watch below:
I have new video for you. This one is an interview I did with one of my favourite cosplay girls Becca Batgirl. She is quite lovely and does an awesome Batgirl. I met her last year at Wondercon and was fortunate to talk to her again at San Diego Comic Con last year. I was cosplaying as the Cathy Lee Crosby Wonder Woman, which I should probably do a little more of, I love that costume. Let’s have a look at the video shall we?
When I was at San Diego Comic Con I had the chance to talk to Nerdgasms.net about a lot of the new and exciting projects that I have going on. If you are not yet familiar with their website, they post news, interviews and commentary about all the geeky things going on in pop culture. Check out their site when you have a chance.
Aside from that, here is my video interview:
