Ready for another cosplay interview? This time I talk to Batgirl Raquel who went to San Diego Comic Con to cosplay as DC Comics villain Poison Ivy. As you can see I am cosplaying as the Cathy Lee Crosby version of Wonder Woman. Let’s chat up this cutie. Watch below:
What are you doing this Saturday? If you are in the Los Angeles area you need to stop by the Dark Delicacies book store in Burbank for D-Day of the B-Movies autograph party. Presented by Delirium Magazine this event is to celebrate the magazine’s launch. Appearing are some iconic horror personalities. Have a look below:
So, I get asked all the time “Tanya, what do you collect?” Well, you know I love Disney, I collect the blu-rays. I collect some figures, but I mostly like the mini-figure like Super Hero Squad and Action League because I think they are dead cute. Unfortunately, I think they have stopped both of those lines. I have been pretty good with the Kotobukiya Bishoujo statues, I have 10 so far. And, of course, I collect the Funko POP! vinyl figures. Watch this video as I answer the question properly.
Ready for a new video review? This week I take a look at the Tyrion Lannister POP! vinyl figure from Funko’s Game of Thrones series. I have been reviewing series one of Game of Thrones and I am loving this line. Funko has really but in a lot of detail when it comes to these vinyl figures. Let’s have a look at my review, shall we?
Well, I have some fantastic news. I was all set to buy this week’s new superhero release, Beware The Batman, on DVD when I saw that my friends at Warner Archive had it available on Blu-ray! How brilliant is that?
I have new video for you. This one is an interview I did with one of my favourite cosplay girls Becca Batgirl. She is quite lovely and does an awesome Batgirl. I met her last year at Wondercon and was fortunate to talk to her again at San Diego Comic Con last year. I was cosplaying as the Cathy Lee Crosby Wonder Woman, which I should probably do a little more of, I love that costume. Let’s have a look at the video shall we?
I have some exciting news, especially for you who are looking to expand your brand, be it in cosplay, comics, or anything geeky really. If you didn’t know already I am a publicist, in addition to my “other” day job. I help talent market themselves and support their public relations campaigns. I have been on panels before at San Diego Comic Con and Wondercon discussing marketing techniques. Now that convention season is coming up again, I thought I would compile some tips when it comes to marketing on a beginners level.
