It’s that time again! Every week I take a look at the new comic book releases and share the ones I like the best or that grab my attention. They could be shocking, sexy or just incredibly cool. Maybe you’ll see something that’s not be on your radar and you’ll find a new book the check out.
This week there are some really cool cover by people like one of my personal favs Amanda Conner. So, lets take a look shall we?
Are you a Thundercats fan? I am! I love Lion-O, of course Cheetara was hot for a furry and Snarf is cute in that annoying sort of way. Funko has unleashed pictures of their POP! vinyl versions of the 80’s cartoon. Each figure stands about 3 3/4-inches tall and comes in a window display box. Would you like to see them? Click below!
Oh my, here is something I had been looking forward to; Game of Thrones Series 3 POP!s from Funko. I am so behind on this series. I do have a nice collection that consists of series 1 and a lot of the exclusives but I am missing series 2 completely. So, I need to get on that rather quickly, LOL. Anyway here is what you have to look forward to in series 3.
Wow. Here is something douchebaggy. Another “geek” site used their twitter account to randomly make a derogatory comment about my body.
"A lot of you follow Tanya Tate because she 'cosplays' but man that boob job is not good."
Why do people feel the need to post a comment like this? I mean, sure everyone is entitled to their opinion and I don’t expect every person out there to like the way I look.
But to go out of their way and publicly tweet a comment? In their world is it ok to comment on someone’s physical attributes in a negative fashion, in general? Or is it just boobs?
Usually I would just ignore something like this, it’s not the first time I received a nasty comment, nor will it be the last. But I do consider myself part of the geek community and really would like people to consider avoiding therobotspajamas site, especially if you are a woman. You never know...maybe your tits will get judged next.
If you would like to leave me a comment, post one below or you can do so via Twitter - @TanyaTate.
If you aren’t following me on Twitter or Instagram, you probably don’t know that I have gone...Brunette! Yes, it was time for a change, so I went for a different colour. On the positive side, that does open up the door for cosplaying as characters I never thought I would do.
While I do collect loads of Funko, this is not a series I usually collect..but you might like it! Five new My Little Pony vinyl collectibles are coming out in the next few weeks and I have some pictures for you. Let’s have a look shall we?
It’s Wednesday...still...in some parts of the world. AND Wednesday usually means new comics day, so on days like this, I occasionally post my top 5 comics book covers of the week. These are 5 covers that I think are just brilliant. They could be shocking, exciting or sexy, whatever I think is cool. There were a lot of cool covers that I wanted to add on here as well, like DC Comics Earth-2 and Forever Evil, but I don’t want to cheat and post more than 5. Otherwise I’d have about 15 covers, LOL. So let’s have a look at the comic book covers that I like this week:
I can’t believe I missed this! Last week, Halloween to be exact - 31st October it was Deidre Hall’s birthday! Deidre was the star of the Krofft series Electra-Woman and Dyna Girl, which I am quite fond of.
Entertainment Earth has just announced a very cool offer in which you buy one doll, you get a 2nd for half off. This is brilliant if you were looking at the Barbie Batman and Catwoman 66 TV Show dolls from Mattel. I know I was thinking about getting them.
Here is a cool event to go to, especially if you live in Southern California - The Long Beach Comic Con! In it’s 5th year, the Comic and Horror event is scheduled to take place on November 23rd and 24th at the Long Beach Convention Center.
