Hello My Heroes!
I'm back with a set of 5 new comic book covers that I just loved this week. With each new batch of Comic Releases I showcase my choices of covers that stand out to me, that grab my attention and share them with you. Let's have a look at ones I have chosen for this week, shall we?
Batwoman #18 - DC Comics - Cover by: Trevor McCarthy
Bloody amazing, this one is. Batwoman with flames surrounding her with a very recognizable bat-villain in the background. Very stylish, very intriguing.
Synopsis: A new story arc begins here as Batwoman adjusts to her new partner and her new role in the war on crime. Guest-starring Batman!
Grimm Fairy Tales #83 - Zenescope - Cover by: Qualano
Great cover! Sela is awesome. Looking forward to this one.
Synopsis: Looking for a fresh start on earth Sela goes back to the one thing she has always has done well...teaching. Aided by an old friend her slate has been wiped clean and the record of events that led her to jail time in the Shoe are now buried. No sooner has she set up shop at her new job she falls into her old habits...using her powers to protect her students from both the dark powers that surround them and themselves. But seldom has Sela encountered an enemy as cold and deadly as the one she faces now...an evil power known as Jack Frost.
Steed And Mrs. Peel #6 - Boom! Comics - Cover by: Dan Davis
"Mrs. Peel, We're Needed" I love the Avengers. I'm talking about John Steed and Emma Peel, the proper Avengers (if you are from England, like me. LOL) Brilliant cover that features Emma in a seductive little outfit right in the middle of a bullseye. With a smile. Just like Emma to be in the middle of danger but look good doing it. This would be a great poster for Avengers collectors.
Synopsis: The conclusion of our super-spies’ foray into space! John Steed and Emma Peel have gotten entangled with an eccentric figure that is determined to see Britain lead in space, no matter the cost. Rising star Caleb Monroe brings us a story of defending Queen & Country in Zero-G!
Zombies vs Cheerleaders #1 - 3 Finger Prints - Cover by: Mike DeBalfo
This one caught my eye for sure. Aside from the upskirts of sexy cheerleaders kicking zombies in half, it really succeeds in conveying a chaotic feeling. That, and upskirts of sexy cheerleaders.
Synopsis: Don’t miss the exciting re-launch of Zombies vs Cheerleaders! Always thrilling, pretty freaking funny and never disappointing, check out what all the commotion is about! Macabre humor featuring, it can never be overstated, two things everyone loves: zombies and cheerleaders!
Grimm Fairy Tales Presents Madness of Wonderland Vol.1 #2 - Zenescope - Cover by: Mike Krome
Zenescope perfectly delivers a cover that elements of horror but does it in a fun sexy way. Not a task easily accomplished but done so well here for the cover of the second issue of Madness of Wonderland. We have the sexy Mad Hatter busting out of her top taking a "selfie" (which I have done numerous times...just follow my Instagram, LOL) with a bloody body in the background. That'll get one's attention.
Synopsis: The mind-bending sequel to Call of Wonderland is here! Detective Legrasse's investigation into the recent brutal murders lead her to discover a similar case from the past -- one that involved Johnny Liddle. Meanwhile, the story of Lovecraft's journal continues as Jacob Hall returns and has plans to use Wonderland's power for himself -- however, there is one thing standing in the way: Lovecraft. A comic that ties directly into Zenescope's ongoing Wonderland series!
