JUSTA LOTTA COMICS: Tanya Tate Enjoys Free Comic Book Day!

Hello Heroes,

Today is Free Comic Book Day! Yeah! I went around to some of the local comic book stores to have a bit of a poke about and came back with some lovely goodies.

The first store I went to DJ Universal in Studio City, but they only had a couple of titles that I didn't fancy much. But, I was recognised while there, LOL.

Then I made my way over Comic Smash also in Studio City. There they had some cool cosplayers. They gave me a bag of that contained a Dark Horse and Image FCBD sampler. Since I was there and they had a nice sale going on, I picked up some more cool collectibles. I got some issues of the Ame-Comi series from DC. An Ame-Comi Hawkgirl statue and a Dr.Doom POP! vinyl figure.

JUSTA LOTTA COSPLAY: Tanya Tate™ Video Interview At Powercon As She-Ra!

Hello Heroes,

When I was at the Power-con convention I was interviewed while cosplaying as She-ra. Power-con is an annual He-Man/She-Ra celebration that takes place in Southern California. I love this event. I have gone both of the years that it has gone on and had a great time. The people were awesome and the atmosphere was great, it as was a community of people who were there to enjoy He-Man and all the series.

VIDEO: Tanya Tate Interviews Cosplayers at Wondercon Part 2

Here it is, part 2 from my Wondercon adventures. Did you see part one? If not, watch it HERE. I went to the 2013 Wondercon to make a signing appearance, I was on a panel and even got to chat with some very cool cosplay girls.

You may not recognize the costume. That is because it is an original one that I have co-created. I'll be talking more about it in the future. For now you get to see me in it as I talk to some brilliant cosplayers.

TOMORROW: TANYA TATE At Wondercon 2013 Video Part 2.

Hello My Beloved Heroes!

Tomorrow I start wrapping up my Wondercon 2013 coverage with my second video where I interview cosplayers. If you notice I am wearing a costume that is something you'll recognise. That's because it's of my own creation!

I co-created my own costume that I'll be using here and there for some upcoming projects. More on that soon. Very soon.

VIDEO: TANYA TATE™ Interviews Cosplay Girls At Wondercon 2013 - Part 1

Hello My Heroes,

I went to Wondercon in Anaheim and was able to interview some brilliant cosplayers. As you know I am a cosplayer and have been doing it for a few years now and I am constantly surprised and amazed by the work I am seeing. Wonderful people are showing some creative and exciting costumes. I love it. Since I started this blog in March of 2011 I have tried to incorporate different elements to it, like interviewing these cosplayers and having them talk about their work for you.

I went dressed as Julie Newmar style Catwoman, which was a new costume for me. Let's have a look at some of the fascinating ladies of Wondercon Cosplay.



After I did some Catwoman cosplay of my own, I participated on a Wondercon panel with several writer and journalists about getting news coverage. You'll see a couple of clips in this video as well.

This is part one, covering Friday. Part two covering the cosplay fun on Saturday will be posted soon, so look out for it. It has some amazing cosplayers.

Oh My. When I was at Wondercon, I ran into Kassem G. If you don't know who that is, he is a very funny internet personality. He has a very popular Youtube page and is awkwardly amusing.

VIDEO: TANYA TATE Reviews Thor Movie Sif Action Figure

Hello Heroes!

It's time for my new video review! Are you excited about Thor: The Dark World? Yeah, I know we have a long way to go before it comes out, but I'm pretty excited about it! Even more so now that I am reminded of it because of the Avengers Box Set comes out today.

Today I'm reviewing the Sif figure from the Thor movie series. The figure is in the likeness Jaimie Alexander, 3 3/4 inches tall and has a lot of articulation. I love the Sif character and as you probably already know, Sif is a bad ass. So let's have a look at this figure.
