Tomorrow is the second annual Action Figure Work Day! On March 6th, people all over will celebrate their geekdom by taking an action figure to work and posting pics of their figures on social media. It’s a fun and cool idea that has really caught on.
So how are you going to celebrate #AWFD2015? Are you going to have a Lady Titan My Hero Toy figure with you? If so, make sure you tweet a pic to @MyHeroToys and of course, it will be re-tweeted.
If you don’t yet have a Lady Titan vinyl figure, you can get one here: http://www.myherotoys.com.
Time for another Tanya Tate review. You all know that I collect POP vinyl figures. I have been reviewing them for years. But even more than the general releases, I am a huge fan of the flocked variants. Nothing catches my attention more than seeing something small and fuzzy. LOL.
Well, today I am going to be looking at a flocked figure and a welcome addition to my collection. From the incredibly popular Disney movie Frozen, it’s the Flocked Olaf POP vinyl figure. This was a 2014 New York Comic Con Toy Tokyo exclusive. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know this was coming out. So, it was a pleasant surprise for me when I was made aware of it. Let’s take a look at Mr. Olaf.
Are you going to New York Comic Con this weekend? If you are, be sure to stop by the booth of the cool people at Fugitive Toys. They are dropping some awesome Funko POP! exclusives that you don’t want to miss out on! What are they? Take a look below.
JUSTA LOTTA FUNKO: Entertainment Earth Reveals Exclusive Frankenstein Distressed Hikari Sofubi Vinyl Figure
I have not yet gotten in to Funko’s Hikari Sofubi series of high-end vinyl figures just yet (I’m still trying to play catch-up on POP!s, LOL) but this Entertainment Earth exclusive is really tempting me! It’s a distressed Frankenstein and it looks incredible. Take a look at the pic below:
Are you a fan of Deadpool? If you are a Funko POP vinyl figure collector, you know that there have been several different variants of the popular Marvel Comics character. Coming out next month will be yet another Deadpool that you’ll need to add to your collection, this time he is suited up in an X-men costume. See the pic below:
Today I am going to be taking a look at a cool exclusive. It’s John Cena with Green Hat and Wristbands. This one is a WWE Exclusive. I got mine when I went to a RAW show. As you may already know, the John Cena figure was originally released with Blue accents. But let’s have a look at the exclusive, shall we?
I am back from San Diego Comic Con! What an exciting trip it was. Parties, panels and all sorts of madness. But it was loads of fun and I got to meet so many of you. Before I start in with my recaps, I want to give some shout-outs to the amazing people that made sure my SDCC 2014 rocked.
Wow, today is the birthday of the gorgeous actress and icon, Lynda Carter. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to her and wish her a ...WONDERful Birthday! She has been an inspiration to me, watching her when I was little, she was running around in a Wonder Woman superhero costume and here we are, years later as I am about to head over to San Diego Comic Con, I’m the one wearing a superhero costume.
Again, Happy Birthday Lynda!
