While at Wondercon I spent some time signing at the Geekscape.net booth. Here is a pic from one of my friends at Autograph Addicts. As you can see I was cosplaying as Catwoman Julie Newmar style from the Batman television show. I'm very happy how the costume came out and plan to bring it with me to San Diego Comic Con in the summer.

JUSTA LOTTA COSPLAY: Tanya Tate Set For WonderCon Appearance

The cosplay star and geek personality will be representing First Comics News on the How To Get News Coverage panel and signing at the Geekscape booth.

(Hollywood, CA)  Noted superhero cosplayer and geek blogger Tanya Tate will be making an appearance this weekend at WonderCon. Tanya has been recognized on several genre sites for her prolific appearances as a costume player. Wondercon is an annual celebration of comic books and pop culture taking place in Anaheim, California March 29th - 31st. Tanya begins her Wondercon weekend by representing FirstComicsNews.com on a panel with other entertainment media specialist titled How To Get News Coverage. As a genre blogger and reviewer as well as a publicist, Tanya is well versed on both sides of the media.

"I'm honoured to be part of this panel," Tanya noted. "It consists of the top people in geek media news. For me to be sitting next to them and taking part of it, is an incredible feeling. I look forward to it."

How To Get News Coverage panel will be held in Room 213 on Friday, March 29th at 3:30pm.

Tanya will also be making a special signing appearance at the Geekscape.net booth on Friday and Saturday. Geekscape is the internet's premiere geek site about movies, videogames, comics and the culture that thrives from them. There Tanya will be signing her geek-centric merchandise which includes 8x10s and her book; Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume.

"Geekscape is an awesome community of pop culture enthusiasts," said Tanya. "I feel very special to be able to sign at their booth."

NEWS: TANYA TATE Will Be Cosplaying At Wondercon 2013

Hello Heroes!

Well, I have some awesome news! I'll be going to Wondercon in Anaheim this March. I have been getting questions about it from some of you and I didn't know if I was because I am going back to England for a few weeks. But my holiday to the UK is booked and I will be back in Los Angeles in time for Wondercon! Yeah!

I have loads of more news about Wondercon coming so keep reading!

Now I just need to get some new costumes together for cosplay. Oh, I have some news about that coming soon as well.

2012 GMX COSPLAY PIX: TANYA TATE As Black Canary Meets Steampunk Boba Fett

At the Geek Media Expo, I was on a panel about cosplay and on the panel with me was Steam Punk Boba Fett,  John F. Strangeway. He may not be in costume but he did bring his helmet. Wearing my little Black Canary costume, I talked about the different ways of cosplaying. Some of the panel was recorded, so I'm sure it will be on youtube soon. Steam Punk Boba Fett has a Facebook page, so stop by and say hello to him!

Cosplayer TANYA TATE Suits Up For Appearance At The Fourth Annual Geek Media Expo!

The popular comic book cosplayer and superhero blogger will be making a special signing appearance at the geek genre convention this weekend. 

For Immediate Release: October 23rd, 2012

(Hollywood, CA) Superhero blogger and cosplayer Tanya Tate is set to make a special signing appearance at the forth annual Geek Media Expo. Tanya will be at the event October 27th and 28th promoting her website JustaLottaTanya.com and her cosplay photo book, Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume. Tanya began cosplaying in 2010 and quickly gained recognition for fun, sexy and detail orientated costumes. Her blog launched the following year with convention coverage and quickly grew to include news and reviews. Tanya will be signing her book, posing for pictures and taking part of some of the show's panels.

POWERCON COSPLAY PIX 2012: TANYA TATE As She-ra Meets The Mighty Spector!

I love seeing people in cosplay, even if it's a character that I am not very familiar with. This is the case with the Mighty Spector! I thought the costume was awesome, but didn't know too much about the character (actually I still don't LOL) but look how amazing that costume looks. Very cool!

POWERCON COSPLAY PIX 2012: TANYA TATE As She-ra #2

Here I am at Powercon 2012! I put my She-ra costume back on. I was planning on going the first day as Princess Adora until a Hustler Magazine (yes, THAT Hustler) asked to do "A Day in the Life of Tanya Tate." So, I decided to go with a costume that was more recognisable. The average reader probably won't recognise Adora as easily as one would She-ra.
