I love cosplayers, obviously LOL, so when I go to comic conventions like Wondercon and see lovely ladies like this Loki, I have to take a picture with them. This girl's costume was incredible. She put a lot of detail into making it and it shows. I even had a chance to interview her for my Tanya Tate Tube channel, and the video for that will be up shortly.

JUSTA LOTTA Sexy Superheroes: Electrawoman - Deidre Hall

Hello Heroes!

This week I would like to spotlight one of my favourite sexy superheroes - Electrawoman!

Electra Woman And Dyna-Girl was a television series in the late 70's as part of The Krofft Supershow. It starred Deidre Hall as Electrawoman and Judy Strangis as Dyna-girl, her sidekick. The show was created by Joe Ruby & Ken Spears. It was a homage of sorts to the 60's Batman television series. The gorgeous Electrawoman would fight baddies using her smarts and gadgets.

I did not know of this show until I came to America and a friend showed it to me. But as soon as I saw it, I fell in love. I loved it so much that I started to cosplay as Electrawoman with my own variation on the costume.

I actually had the chance to meet Electrawoman and got a picture with her (as well as Dyna-Girl, Sid and Marty Krofft). She was amazing.

JUSTA LOTTA Sexy Superheroes: Anne Hathaway - Catwoman

Meow! How hot was she! If you saw Dark Knight Rises you saw Anne Hathaway shows she had some sexy moves as Catwoman. As a Catwoman, fan I thought she was awesome. And you can never go wrong with a skin tight cat suit. Just sayin.



Over the last 2 weeks I featured some sexy superheroes from the 70's, Isis and Wonder Woman, so this week I thought I would bring things back to the present. and feature this beautiful brunette. I have a soft spot for bad girls with hearts of gold, as you can imagine, LOL.


The costume looks almost reminiscent of the classic Julie Newmar one that I love from the old Batman TV show. And of course my favorite part - the ears!

I have seen a few girls cosplay as this version of Catwoman over the last year and I love it. The cool thing about Catwoman is that there have been so many different versions that the character is always seen in one form or another at comic cons.


Love it, love Anne Hathaway as Catwoman!

JUSTA LOTTA Sexy Superheroes: Isis - Joanna Cameron

Hello My Heroes!

My cosplay was influenced strongly by the iconic women who slipped on costumes in film and television. Each week I play tribute to the sexy super heroines and villains. This week I look at the Mighty Isis played by Joanna Cameron in the 70's saturday morning television show.


I did not know of Isis when I lived in England. She was another hero I "discovered" when I came to the US. A friend of mine loaned me the DVD set, and while the show is definitely directed at children, I found Joanna Cameron's Isis incredible.

Strong and sexy, Joanna is very beautiful. In the show she stars as Andrea Thomas, who finds the amulet of Isis and is capable of transforming into the hero by saying her name.


The show may have only ran 22 episodes, but the entire series was issued on DVD. Unfortunately that set is now out of print, but another set containing a few episodes can be found.

A quick google search only turns up a couple examples of Isis cosplay. A shame, as a character this cool and sexy deserves more.

So Joanna Cameron as Isis is my Sexy Superhero of the week.

JUSTA LOTTA Sexy Superheroes: Wonder Woman - Lynda Carter

Hello Heroes!

I always said I was influenced by live action superheroes. So I thought I would start paying tribute to the sexy super heroines  on a weekly basis. I would like to start with one that is the earliest I can remember seeing and one that probably has had the most impact on my cosplaying. Wonder Woman - Lynda Carter.


Ironically, I don't ever plan on cosplaying as Lynda's Wonder Woman. Because, I'm not brunette and I don't like wigs, LOL. And while I don't mind altering costumes to suit me, I still want to keep within the spirt of the character. A blonde Lynda Carter Wonder Woman is kind of like a pink Hulk.


Wonder Woman began it's run on television in 1975 and starred the beautiful Lynda Carter in the iconic role. I actually got to meet Lynda and she is still very lovely. Lynda was the first woman I saw wear a costume out of the comics (I don't really count Ursa from Superman II) and it fascinated me. Those bright bold colours, it was brilliant. She brought that costume to life and that was something I always wanted to do, and did years later when I started to cosplay.

So Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman is my Sexy Superhero of the week.
