Recently I Co-hosted the naughty Show at the Comedy Store in Hollywood with the beautiful Masuimi Max! She came, straight from a shoot, in a super sexy vinyl Harley Quinn cosplay costume. She was lovely. That was the first time I met her and I have to say, she is very cool.
It's been a busy week here at JLT - loads of updates with lots more coming. Let's have a look at some of the stories that have been posted this past week.
There you go. I have also been answering your comments, so be sure to leave me one if you have question. And be sure to fillow me on Twitter - @TanyaTate
I just wanted to let you all know that I am on Deviantart.com! I set up a profile on there a few months ago and have just now uploaded a couple of pictures. I'm still getting use to it, so any tips are welcome. Leave them below or message me on deviantart. See you there!
Thank you for checking out my blog. Hopefully over the last 2+ years you have enjoyed all the things I have been posting, the reviews, cosplay, and event pictures.
I wanted to let you know that I have now opened a Justa Lotta Tanya store! It has autographed photos, keychains and other fun Tanya Tate merchandise for you. So if you like my cosplay and have not had a chance to meet me at one of the cons, you can pick up some of the cool stuff I have available.
I also have my cosplay book in there as well, Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume. It's loaded with pictures of the first year of my cosplaying. Me as Emma Frost, Susan Storm, Electra Woman and more.
When I was at the Power-con convention I was interviewed while cosplaying as She-ra. Power-con is an annual He-Man/She-Ra celebration that takes place in Southern California. I love this event. I have gone both of the years that it has gone on and had a great time. The people were awesome and the atmosphere was great, it as was a community of people who were there to enjoy He-Man and all the series.
Have a look at the video and let me know what you think!

I plan on going to the Powercon this year as well. So hopefully when you see this video, you'll want to come out this year when the convention takes place later this year. You can find out more info about the upcoming convention right here!
Here it is, part 2 from my Wondercon adventures. Did you see part one? If not, watch it HERE. I went to the 2013 Wondercon to make a signing appearance, I was on a panel and even got to chat with some very cool cosplay girls.
You may not recognize the costume. That is because it is an original one that I have co-created. I'll be talking more about it in the future. For now you get to see me in it as I talk to some brilliant cosplayers.
Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below or you can always hit me up via twitter - @TanyaTate. If you are a cosplayer and would like to be featured on my site, just let me know and I'll see if we can make that happen.
My friends at Rovok.net featured some of my images from Wondercon 2013 on their site recently! How cool is that!
Some of the pictures are of me in my Julie Newmar Catwoman costume, while some are of me in my Justa Lotta Tanya T-shirt. Click over there and have look for yourself! If you know of any other sites that have posted pictures of me, let me know by leaving a comment.
Tomorrow I start wrapping up my Wondercon 2013 coverage with my second video where I interview cosplayers. If you notice I am wearing a costume that is something you'll recognise. That's because it's of my own creation!
I co-created my own costume that I'll be using here and there for some upcoming projects. More on that soon. Very soon.
In the meantime, tomorrow enjoy the super cool cosplayers that I was fortunate to talk to at Wondercon. If you are a cosplayer and would like to be featured her, just let me know and we'll see about making it happen. Leave a comment below or tweet me.
If you missed my first Wondercon video, here it is!
Here is another one of my POP! vinyl figure reviews. I'm doing things a little different, I'm doing it in cosplay as Black Canary and from the Geek Media Expo! LOL, I told you it was going to be different. Firstly, sorry about the audio! I tried to do this video from the GMX convention floor, but forgot my microphone!
As you know I am a huge fan of Funko's POP! vinyl figures. My collection is massive with figures from Marvel, Disney, Game of Thrones, Beatles and DC Comics series. This one is from the DC line, it's the Black Flash! Black Flash was a Fugitive Toys exclusive. Which I talk about in the video.
The Black Flash is the embodiment of death when it comes to the speeder superheroes in the DC Universe. So when you see him coming you better watch out, something bad is going to happen!
Have a look at this video and let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. You can also send me a tweet @TanyaTate. I have loads more Funko POP! vinyl figure reviews posted on my channel, so check them out!
I went to Wondercon in Anaheim and was able to interview some brilliant cosplayers. As you know I am a cosplayer and have been doing it for a few years now and I am constantly surprised and amazed by the work I am seeing. Wonderful people are showing some creative and exciting costumes. I love it. Since I started this blog in March of 2011 I have tried to incorporate different elements to it, like interviewing these cosplayers and having them talk about their work for you.
I went dressed as Julie Newmar style Catwoman, which was a new costume for me. Let's have a look at some of the fascinating ladies of Wondercon Cosplay.
After I did some Catwoman cosplay of my own, I participated on a Wondercon panel with several writer and journalists about getting news coverage. You'll see a couple of clips in this video as well.
This is part one, covering Friday. Part two covering the cosplay fun on Saturday will be posted soon, so look out for it. It has some amazing cosplayers.
Let me know what you think of this video by leaving a comment below! If you guys like it enough I'll do more cosplay interviews.
