This year during San Diego Comic Con I had the opportunity to attend Funko’s annual party, Fundays. It’s a celebration that the cool people of Funko put together for industry and fans.
I invited Phil from the Facebook group Poppin Off About Funko and HollywoodGoneGeek.com to sit in with me and recap the Fundays event. We’ll talk about all the exciting games and giveaways that took place as well as some of the exclusives that were found there including the magical Mystery Box. Have a look below:
Wow, today is the birthday of the gorgeous actress and icon, Lynda Carter. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to her and wish her a ...WONDERful Birthday! She has been an inspiration to me, watching her when I was little, she was running around in a Wonder Woman superhero costume and here we are, years later as I am about to head over to San Diego Comic Con, I’m the one wearing a superhero costume.
Again, Happy Birthday Lynda!
This past weekend I made a signing appearance at Exxxotica Fort Lauderdale. While there I did a little cosplay, LOL. Exxxotica is convention, but not like the usual Comic Cons, it had more adult themes. Usually at these type of conventions I would wear a sexy dress, but I thought I would do something different this time around so I brought out my Julie Newmar style Catwoman costume and Wonder Woman bikini. I made sure to get some pictures and thought I would share them with you.
At Exxxotica, I posed for pictures, signed autographs...I even had available my official Tanya Tate and Lady Titan T-shirts (which are also available here).
In the pics you’ll see some of the amazing girls that I know. Teagan Presley, Phoenix Marie, Allie Haze, Tori Black, Stormy Daniels, Lexi Belle, Alexis Texas, Ron Jeremy, Joanna Angel and more.
Well, here is an odd story. At a recent Captain America: The Winter Soldier press conference, Samuel L. Jackson made a somewhat inappropriate joke. When asked to name one of the best pop culture achievements of the last 50 years, a nod to Steve Rogers entering the present after being on ice for so long, Sam, in an un-Nick Fury like move, responded with the name of a well known adult site.
Unfortunately, that site happens to be one that has been linked to the piracy of adult entertainment content. I was contacted by a TMZ reporter and asked what I thought....
Are you ready for add some new Marvel movie Funko POP!s to your collection? Well, here are some pre-order releases that I’m sure you’ll want to see. I wanted to share a new magazine that I have found called Cool and Collected. For collectors like me it is a fun read. The magazine is 60 pages in full colour and is packed with articles. This first issue covers pop culture books, Super Powers figures, Lord of the Rings, Superman, Spock and so much more. The articles are lively and that is a main selling point for me. I love reading about what people collect and this really does com across as a labour of love.
I like the idea of a magazine like this. Sure, I can find images online quickly, but there is something great about having a tangible magazine that I can flip thru and hold in my hand.
If you want to order your copy of Cool and Collected you can have a look at the website here: http://coolandcollected.com.
LMK if you are going to order a copy of if you already have it, what you think by leaving a comment below. You can also contact me via Twitter - @TanyaTate.

JUSTA LOTTA KROFFT: Land of the Lost Star Wesley Eure Making An Appearance in Los Angeles At Comikaze
Are you going to the Comikaze convention in Los Angeles this weekend? Unfortunately, I will not be there as I’m in the UK for another couple of weeks. Sad that I am missing out and not being able to cosplay there, I had fun doing it last year. Something else that I will be missing out on is Wesley Eure from the Land of the Lost television show is going to be there! Here is the info:
At San Diego Comic Con I did a little running around getting some interviews from cosplayers there. I ran into a friend of mine Nina Mercedez who was cosplaying as a sexy version of the Batman villain, Poison Ivy. Let’s have a look at the interview, shall we?
She looks lovely in that hot little costume. Whew! Let me know what you think of the video by posting a comment here or on youtube. I have a lot more videos that are being posted, so keep watching.
