Oh man, I really want this t-shirt. LOL. "Fake Geek Girl" I happened to see it while hopping around online, and had a good laugh. It's on the We Love Fine website and it's designed by Kelly Sue DeConnick, who you may know of as the current writer of Captain Marvel.

I know this shirt is more intended for guys but I would love to wear it. Too bad this does not come in a "baby doll" cut sizes, I would be all over it. 

Maybe I'll make a shirt that says "Not a REAL Cosplayer / Doesn't make Her Own Costumes" as a shout out to my past detractors (remember those days?).

Oh yes, I do love this figure already. I'm always happy to have more villains in my collection, LOL. Get ready Justice League, Darkseid is coming! I'll have more info on the release date and hopefully pictures of the finished product soon!

Time for another one of my video reviews! Today we'll have a look at the Iron Man POP! vinyl figure from Funko toys. This is a really cool figure that looks like the Iron Man from the golden age.

My collection of Funko figures is ever growing and the Marvel line is really one of my favourites. Let's have a look as I review the Iron Man POP!

TANYA TATE™ Napoleon Dynamite Animated Series Screening and Review

Wednesday night I attended a premiere screening of the new Napoleon Dynamite animated series in Beverly Hills. It was really cool. They screened the first episode (which will be airing this Sunday, January 15th) and afterward had a Q & A session. Just about everyone from the cast was there including Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite),  Uncle Rico (Jon Gries), Efren Ramirez (Pedro Sánchez), Tina Majorino (Deb), Sandy Martin (Grandma Dynamite), Diedrich Bader (Rex) and the directors of the movie Jared and Jerusha Hess.

Tanya Tate Meets Julian Mcmahon

I went to the Pantages theatre in Hollywood last week to see a popular Beatles Tribute show called Rain. As you may know I am from the same place as The Beatles...Liverpool! So I wanted  to take in the show. While there, who do I run into...Julian Mcmahon! The actor who was Dr. Doom in the Fantastic Four movies. He was very cool. I only got to talk to him for a minute because it was during intermission, but he seemed like he was really enjoying the music of The Beatles.

Tanya Tate Meets Jon Favreau At Monsterpalooza

This past weekend I went to the Monsterpalooza convention in Burbank. My friends at Girls and Corpses magazine had a booth there, so I went to visit, hang out and mooch about for cool Hammer Horror stuff. I’ll blog about the fun I had at Monsterpalooza later, but while there I ran into the director of Iron Man, Jon Favreau!  He was very cool guy..too bad he won’t be doing Iron Man 3. LOL.

Tanya Tate Meets Lynda Carter

Lynda Carter was recently singing at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood. I was lucky to get some tickets for her performance. Lynda sang a whole host of classic songs, some jazz, and some of her own numbers. Her singing was beautiful, a kind of Karen Carpenter. Backed by an amazing band of award winning musicians.

Lynda kindly posed for a picture with me at the end of her show. As well as an amazing body, fabulous voice, she was such a sweet person too. Lynda Carter was the original Wonder Woman, she even did a quick twirl on the stage LOL. She is definitely one of my hero’s. Go Lynda!!

I also had my picture taken with the Mayor of LA, Antonio Villaraigosa, and the gorgeous Lu Parker, Miss USA 1994.
