Hello!
This past weekend I had an opportunity to preview the new Cars Land at Disneyland California Adventure. It doesn't actually open until June 15th but as an Annual Passholder I was treated experience the rides early. I am a huge DIsney fan, so as you can imagine I was very excited about going and I had a blast!
Cars Land is very big and and is an incredible recreation, it looks just like the main street from the movie. I was really surprised how well it was done. The ambiance exciting and I really did feel like I was in a whole new land.
I went on two of the new rides; Luigi's Flying Tires and Radiator Springs Racers. When I first arrived I went straight for Radiator Springs Racers. That one looked like it would be fun. Upon seeing it in person, I was amazed at the scope of it. It looks very grand. And the ride itself was brilliant. I had so much fun on it that I went on it a few times.
You start off by going through the town of Radiator Springs, cruising through the town, then you end up at a race and that's when the ride goes into over drive and you are racing across the dessert. I think people are going to be thrilled with this ride. It really is that good.
Luigi's Flying Tires, I wasn't so impressed with. For my comments on that, you'll have to see the video. LOL, It was ok, but coming off of Radiator Springs Racers...it's just doesn't leave a lasting impact. Like I wrote, it was "ok" but I wouldn't be in a rush to go back on it.
Cars Land looks amazing and I had a blast on Radiator Springs Racers. Have a look at some of the pics I took and as I mentioned I also shot some video, which I'll be uploading on Friday so you'll get a chance to see my little adventure while I was there.
Does Cars Land look interesting to you? Let me know by leaving a comment below, or by sending me a tweet (@TanyaTate) And don't forget to keep an eye out for my video of Cars Land!
